The Atlanta Braves engaged CMCA across several initiatives that required translating baseball history and cultural legacy into compelling visual experiences, retail products, and collectible objects.
01 — Hank Aaron Day | Retail Artwork
Approach: Created original artwork celebrating Hank Aaron for the Braves’ gift shop, using collage and archival imagery to honor his legacy through a contemporary visual language.
Outcome: Translated one of baseball’s most significant figures into a collectible retail experience that connected Braves history with contemporary design.
02 — Restoring Glory | Dugout Installation
Approach: Contributed original collage artwork to a customized dugout environment created for the Braves’ Restoring Glory initiative. The space incorporated a documentary focused on the Negro Leagues, using the visual environment to connect baseball history with the program’s mission of supporting HBCU athletics.
Outcome: Helped transform the dugout into an immersive storytelling environment where art, film, baseball history, and community investment intersected.
03 — Legacy Club | Custom Bats
Approach: Designed customized baseball bats for Atlanta Braves Legacy Club members, incorporating culturally significant imagery and personalized visual elements.
Outcome: Turned a traditional baseball object into a collectible piece of art and a tangible representation of the Braves’ legacy and community of supporters.
